MARS SCIENCE LABRATORY

The nuclear-powered Mars Rover Curiosity has been the largest and most complex vehicle that has ever landed on a celestial body since its landing in August 2012. Bringing the 900 kg safely to Mars was another great achievement of the Jet Propulsion Labratory. In spring 2021, his younger brother Perseverance is to join him on Mars.

I have downloaded the STL files directly from the NASA web page.

MARS EXPLORATION ROVER

The two MERs (Mars Exploration Rover) Spirit and Opportunity can be confidently considered as one of the most successful duos in space history. After landing in January 2004 the two rovers were planned to operate for 90 days, ultimately Spirit has been active for more than 5 years, Opportunity exceeded all forecasts with 5119 Mars days of ongoing research.

I have downloaded the STL files from Thingiverse . The solar panels were completely unusable for me, so I redesigned them. The STL file is there below for free download. I scaled the rover down to 70% so it fits my other models and represents approx. 1/13 scale.

STL file for the solar panels:

SOJOURNER

Sojourner was part of NASA's "Pathfinder" mission and the first rover to be successfully landed on Mars on July 4, 1997. Sojourner was only 65 cm long and weighed just 11.5 kg, less a scientific probe, but much more evidence that it is possible to land and operate a rover on Mars. Sojourner's mission was planned to last not more than 7 days, but ultimately it worked for 85 days.

I found the STL files on "cults3d", just search for "Sojourner". Since the model was too big for me (my target scale is 1/13), I scaled it down to 80%. The wheels were unusable, so I redesigned them. The STL File is available for download below.

You can use my STL file if you want.
